Day 13 of the third EQD Newbie Artist Training Grounds.
Prompt: Draw a pony transforming/Draw a pony in disguise.

Well, I'm much happier with how this entry to the NATG turned out in comparison to yesterday. I do love the drama of this moment in the MLP series. Anyways, I wanted to try out another method of modeling wings, which turned out to have its pros and cons, like all my trials. Also, if I attempt another way of modeling hair, like I did today, I swear I will pull my own out. I think I'm up to like 5 or 6 different ways of making hair. Had fun though. One last note, I tried out some new methods for lighting up the scene...it took a few tries to get it bright enough to fit the "magical overload" feeling.

Each day I try to push myself farther out of my comfort zone and try something new. It's hard, and I can see some habits and ruts forming from the way I practice modeling already, so it's an ongoing effort. It's worth it though.
